Member Accomplishments - 2024 - 2025

We are proud of all of our members but here are a few accomplishments worth "kvelling" about!

​Congratulations to member Deborah S. Holman for being awarded the the Richard G. Tomlinson Literary Award at the Connecticut Society of Genealogists, Inc. Family History Day Conference! Deborah was cheered on by her daughter and by two of her JGSCT friends.

JGSCT member, Deborah S. Holman, recently published her first book: Nothing Really Bad Will Happen, available on Amazon.com in paperback and Kindle formats.

She also published a children's version:  Doris's New Home: A Jewish Family's Journey from 1938 Vienna, available on Amazon.com.

Laszlo Balazs received his certification from Living Links and has presented his paternal grandmother’s Holocaust survival story at various schools. 

Tara Blieden Rothman recently published her first children's book: Gussie's Suitcase Packed with Courage, Hope and Secrets: A Young Girl's Journey from Latvia to America, available on Amazon.
