Jewish Records Indexing – Poland has built and maintain the world’s largest online database of Jewish vital and other records, including more than 6.4 million vital records and 2.5 million images for 1902 towns and settlements in the current and former territories of Poland. It has negotiated agreements with the Polish State Archives to access and index the Archive's collection of Jewish records. JRI-Poland is an essential resource for Jewish genealogists researching their Eastern European roots.

Topic:
Ask JRI-Poland with Robinn Magid

Join JGSCT for an energizing discussion with Robinn Magid, the new head of JRI-Poland.org.  Robinn will set the scene with a very short presentation of what JRI-Poland is and what a researcher can expect from JRI-Poland. Bring your questions, brick walls and curiosity and ask Robinn. She will be able to demonstrate how to use the website and would prefer to do it with cases from the audience, so come prepared to ask what's possible. This session is expected to last from one hour 15 minutes to one hour and a half depending upon the number of audience.
