Program Description:
Join the Jewish Genealogical Society of Connecticut (JGSCT) for a special hybrid event where you are the program! Participants will share a cherished heirloom—a treasured tchotchke—and share its story with the group. Whether it’s a faded photograph, a chipped teacup, or a well-worn recipe card, every object holds a memory, and every memory adds a thread to the tapestry of our collective past.Last month’s writing workshop sparked beautiful reflections on family heirlooms, and we especially encourage participants from that session to return and share the stories they’ve begun to craft.
Bring your object (or a photo of it), bring your story, and bring your curiosity. This will be a heartwarming round table of memory, meaning, and connection.
